Since 2009 donors have used their imaginations and artistic skills using a variety of themes for their holiday decorations. All the December holidays, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Winter Solstice have been inspirations for themes. Donors' themes have also included activities, such as cooking, gardening, crafting and exercising. Popular icons, such as Anna & Elsa from Frozen, Winnie the Pooh, Spiderman, Darth Vader, Yoda, The Grinch, Cookie Monster and Barbie have enchanted Parade of Trees visitors.

This year's themes include A World of Belonging; Fancy & Frosted; It's an Ice Cream World; The Elves are Busy; Light up the Links; Vroom, Vroom; and Winter Woods.

All proceeds from the Parade of Trees help Danvers Historical Society promote the history of Danvers through preservation and the creation of engaging public programs. Danvers Historical Society is a nonprofit 501(c)3 charity.
