Danvers Police Aid in Topsfield Manhunt

Sunday, May 27
- Police were dispatched to Granview Road on report of an unwanted intoxicated guest at 5:51 p.m. When police arrived, he had left.
- Police placed a 30-year-old male from Salem in protective custody. Police had been dispatched to the parking lot to check his well being at 6:30 p.m.
- A loud party on Vista Drive was reported as disturbing the peace at 10:31 p.m. Police spoke to the residents.

- Police went to at 2:38 a.m. on report of three youths on the field.
- Police were dispatched to at 7:43 a.m. to check the well being of an individual who was reportedly passed out in his/her car.
- A landlord/tenant dispute on Ash Street was reported at 12:03 p.m.
- A neighborhood dispute was reported on Maple Street at 2:11 p.m.
- Police assisted Topsfield Police at 4:29 p.m. in the search for a suspect who allegedly broke into a Topsfield residence.
- An antenna and tire were reported damaged on a car parked on Bay Drive at 6:20 p.m.
- Tools from a shed on Dartmouth Street were reported stolen at 8:18 p.m.
- Jewelry was reported stolen from a Highland Terrace residence at 9:55 p.m.
- At 10:22 p.m. police arrested Frances Ernst, 51, of Highland Ave. in Beverly, on charges of operating with a suspended license.
Tuesday, May 29
- Threats were reported at the at 11:26 a.m.
- Police arrested John Balkus, 37, of 19 Mill St. in Beverly, on charges of shoplifting from Kohl's, at 1:42 p.m.
