Danvers Police Hold Info Session on Police Exam
Interested in becoming a police officer? The Danvers Police Department is sharing the roadmap.

DANVERS, MA – Those interested in becoming a Danvers Police Officer are invited to an information session on Feb. 9, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Town Hall. The session will go over the Massachusetts Police Officer Examination on March 25, for which the application deadline is Feb. 21.
Applicants must be 21 by the day of the exam, and have a high school diploma, GED, or have served three years active service in the armed forces, according to a flyer from the Danvers Police. Danvers is a residential preference hire community, which means Danvers residents (those who have lived in Danvers for a full year before the exam) will be given hiring preference.
