Danvers Police Investigate Suspicious Activity In Target Parking Lot

DANVERS, MA – Danvers Police responded to a Facebook post that has been circulating on local groups on Monday that detailed suspicious activity in the Target parking lot. The police statement said that officers investigated the incident, and found there was no crime.

The incident, which involved a vehicle suspected of following a shopper, turned out to be a coincidence. The post urged residents to call police as soon as something suspicious occurs.

"This scenario is exactly why we recommend that the police be notified immediately and directly, so that we can respond and investigate, and put all involved parties at ease," read the post.
