Danvers Police: January Firearms Licensing Dates
Current processing time for new applicants/renewals is approximately six weeks.

DANVERS, MA - Firearms licensing will be held from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at the Danvers Police Department, 120 Ash St.
Firearms applicants may come to the police station for licensing at any time during the posted hours of a licensing day and will be processed on a first come, first served basis, according to police officials.

Applicants can come to the police station on specified dates and will be seen in the order in which they arrive. You may arrive at the police station at any time during the posted hours on a licensing day. However,because criminal investigation emergencies can occur at any time applicants are strongly encouraged to double check before coming to the station.
Applicants should have a completed application, a check payable to the town of Danvers for the correct fee amount, and any supporting documents required.

The next scheduled dates to obtain firearms licenses are Tuesday, Jan. 12, and Friday, Jan. 29.
