Danvers Police Search For 3 Suspects Who Fled From Chase
Danvers police said the three men ran off from a chase that began in Saugus near the Mello Parkway early Tuesday afternoon.

DANVERS, MA — Three men who ran away from a police vehicle chase that started in Saugus and led to Danvers were still on the loose as of early Tuesday afternoon, according to Danvers police.
Police said Danvers officers, along with Massachusetts State Police, the Essex County Sheriff's Department, K9 units and aerial support were looking for the men suspected of being involved in an incident in Lynn.

"It should be noted that these individuals are not suspects of a homicide investigation," police said.
The suspects were described as "a black male wearing a white shirt; a white male with dreadlocks, dressed in all black; a female (race unknown) wearing all black with a pink backpack."

Social media reports said the Northeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council took a man into custody Tuesday afternoon in Beverly but the Beverly Police Department indicated late Tuesday afternoon that was not related to the Danvers chase.
Danvers police said in an updated statement mid-afternoon: "Following a thorough search, and based on information obtained during the investigation, the three individuals who fled are no longer believed to be in the Danvers area. Danvers Police Detectives will continue working with the Lynn Police Department in an effort to identify those involved.
"There is currently no indication of any ongoing threat to our community."
