Pacheco, 33, of 6 Venice St. in Danvers, has been the Town Administrator in Lancaster since 2005. Previously, he had worked as chief of staff to former Amesbury mayor David Hildt.

Pacheco was ordered to attend an alcoholic education program. He received a year of probation and his license was suspended for 45 days, WHDH reported.

The Worcester Telegram said Pacheco will likely not receive any action taken against him from the town of Lancaster. Christopher J. Williams, chairman of selectmen told the Telegram that "there is no “morals clause” in Mr. Pacheco’s contract, and that the arrest did not take place while he was on the clock."
