Danvers Rotary Pledges $50,000 to Technology Campaign
The money has been specifically designated to be used for the DECA Technology Laboratory at Danvers High.

The has pledged $50,000 to the , with a focus on supporting the technology needs of the new high school, to help students meet goals for 21st century learning.
At Monday's Rotary Meeting, Dr. Lisa Dana, superintendent of the Danvers School System was presented with a check in the amount of $10,000.00, the initial payment of a three year pledge.

Rotary's donation is consistent with the club's well established practice of providing funds to local organizations. In addition, Rotary annually presents scholarships to Danvers High School students.
In the past Rotary has been responsible for the building of the pavilion and Children's Garden both next to the , the on Hobart Street, the picnic and parking area next to on Locust Street and many other projects over the years.
