Danvers Route 114 Lane Closures Set To Begin This Week

The state Department of Transportation said night lane closures will start Wednesday on Route 114 in Middleton and Danvers.

DANVERS, MA — Those traveling Route 114 in Middleton and Danvers at night can expect delays starting on Wednesday as part of a $4.6 million milling and pavement project.

During the work, lane closures will reduce travel to a single lane in each direction from Rundlett Way in Middleton to Veronica Drive in Danvers.

The pavement milling will be performed between 8 p.m. and 4 a.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and next Monday, concluding about 4 a.m. on Sept. 10.

The work is being conducted as part of a project for roadway reconstruction and related work on a section of Andover Street (Route 114).

Drivers traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.

Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.
