Danvers Route 128 Off-Ramp To Close For 2 Days

The 128 southbound off-ramp to Conant Street will be closed Monday and Tuesday for paving work on the road.

DANVERS, MA — The Route 128 southbound off-ramp to Conant Street in Danvers will be shut down on Monday and Tuesday because of the repaving project on the street.

The state Department of Transportation said Exit 44 will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days. The on-ramp from Conant Street to Route 128 southbound will remain open.

"This closure will allow the town of Danvers to safely and effectively complete resurfacing operations on Conant Street," MassDOT said.

A detour will take traffic to Exit 43 and Route 62 westbound where it will be re-directed back to Conant Street.

The work is weather-dependent and subject to change.

Drivers in the area are advised to reduce speed and use caution.
