Danvers Sets Halloween Night Trick-Or-Treat, Warning Issued
Danvers officials said parents should closely examine candy to make sure it does not include THC edibles.
DANVERS, MA — Danvers officials have set Halloween trick-or-treat hours while issuing a warning to parents to closely examine their children's candy stage for a dangerous item.
Trick-or-treat will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in town for Oct. 31. Houses that do not wish to participate in the holiday tradition are asked to keep their outdoor lights off between those hours with trick-or-treaters urged to respect the houses not participating.
For the children who do bring home a stash of sweets, officials also urged parents to closely examine the candy collection for any THC edibles, which are often packaged in a very similar way to commercially available candy packages.
