Danvers Ends Snow Emergency Parking Ban From Saturday's Blizzard
The snow emergency parking ban was allowed to expire shortly after 4 p.m. Sunday after Saturday's wallop of snow and wind.

DANVERS, MA — Danvers extended its snow emergency parking ban until Sunday afternoon following more than 2 feet of snow in 24 hours.
The Danvers Department of Public Works ended the ban about 4 p.m.
Danvers was one of several communities to top the 2-foot mark with the National Weather Service reporting an official measurement of 24.5 inches. That puts the town just outside of the most heavily hit towns in the state just south of Boston.

Stoughton recorded 30.6 inches of snow, while Quincy checked in at 30 inches.
Saturday's snow was coupled with fierce wind gusts that hit 70 mph on the North Shore and nearly 100 mph on the outer Cape.
