Danvers Steakhouse To Close After 5 Decades
The Hardcover Restaurant announced its last day of operation at that location will be May 1.
PEABODY, MA — A North Shore steakhouse and function space will be closing its Danvers location in less than a month, after more than five decades in operation, the restaurant announced on social media this week.
The owners of the Hardcover Restaurant, located at 15A Newbury Street, said May 1 will be its final day of operation at that location.
"It is with a heavy heart and bittersweet emotion that we announce the upcoming closure of The Hardcover Restaurant," owners posted. "The unwavering loyalty of our customers and the dedication of our employees, both past and present, have been the cornerstone of our success. We are deeply grateful for the incredible support we have been shown throughout these years."

The Hardcover plans to maintain its sister locations at the Beverly Depot on Park Street and the Barnsider in Albany, NY.
"To all those who have dined with us, recommended us and shared your special moments with us, we offer our sincerest thanks," the restaurant said. "We will truly miss you all.
