Danvers Street Closed For Emergency Utility Repairs

DANVERS, MA — Dayton Street in Danvers was to be closed in both directions for most of Thursday because of emergency utility repairs.

Officials said the repairs are necessary near 102 Dayton Street with both sides of the street closed to all traffic, including emergency vehicles.

Detours and police details are in place to guide traffic.

Work was expected to be completed by the end of the day Thursday.

"We appreciate your patience and cooperation as crews work to resolve the issue as quickly and safely as possible," officials said.
