Danvers Trick-Or-Treat Hours, THC Edibles Warning
Official trick-or-treating will take place on Halloween night.
DANVERS, MA — Danvers will hold its annual trick-or-treat hours on Halloween night from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with parents strongly urged to check children's treat bags for potential THC edibles.
Danvers police said THC edibles are commonly packaged similarly to candy
"Parents and guardians MUST closely examine candy packages for THC edibles," Danvers officials said.

Adults are advised to walk with children and utilize sidewalks when possible. After dark, trick-or-treaters should use flashlights or glow sticks to increase visibility.
Those driving during trick-or-treat hours should avoid distractions and watch carefully for children in dark clothing who may be walking in the road.

Houses that do not wish to participate in trick-or-treating should turn outside lights off. Trick-or-treaters are asked to respect houses with lights off.
