Danvers Vs. Gloucester: A Thanksgiving High School Football Tradition
The Falcons will look to finish the season on a strong note against the Fishermen on Thursday morning.
DANVERS, MA — The Danvers High football team will look to end a season of some great highs and frustrating finishes with a most satisfying victory against traditional rival Gloucester on Thursday morning.
The Falcons will travel to face the Fishermen for a 10 a.m. start.
Danvers was in the running for a possible playoff spot until a tough loss at Masconomet on Oct. 21. The Falcons then dropped the Northeastern Conference finale against Marblehead before a loss to North Andover and a 34-18 victory against Salem in the non-qualifier bracket.
