Danversport Yacht Club Restaurant To Close

DANVERS, MA – The Danversport Yacht Club announced earlier this month that the Grille & Bistro would be converted into an event space after its closing on April 2.

In comments on the post, the Yacht Club said any gift cards not used before April 2 would be reimbursed. Joseph DeLorenzo opened the Danversport Yacht Club in 1970 with the hope of creating a dance floor large enough for his square dancing club, the Shin Diggers, according to the club's website.

Ownership of the club – famous for its holiday banquets and pool club – has stayed in the family. Its annual wedding show will take place on March 15.
