You have probably already done it, but now you’ll have a great excuse. Eat ice cream for breakfast in support of HAWC (Healing Abuse Working for Change: The purpose of HAWC is to create social change by taking action against personal and societal patterns of violence and oppression. HAWC provides services and support to victims of domestic violence residing in 23 cities and towns on the North Shore).
Join us at Cherry Farm Creamery on Saturday, February 4th for National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day. Cherry Farm will be opening early at 8am for the occasion and serving a special “breakfast” menu.
From 8am-12pm half of all proceeds will be donated to HAWC, so be sure to stop by early. Special menu items include: waffle sundaes, Pop-Tart sundaes, “Coffee & Donuts” ice cream (coffee ice cream with chocolate glazed donuts mixed in), “Maple Bacon” ice cream (maple flavored ice cream with bits of bacon mixed in) and “Banana Grape-Nut” ice cream; assorted cereals for toppings, as well as Banana-crunch-bars and warm maple syrup and blueberry toppings.
