PHOTOS: Falcons Fly By Methuen In First Round Matchup
The Falcons won their first matchup in the State Tournament.
The Falcons were victorious in their first bout at the State Tournaments, flying past Methuen, 4-2.
The Division 2 North first round matchup, held at the O'Brien Rink, was a "relief to get out of the way," senior Peter Marshall told the Salem News. "(Methuen) didn't give up, but we held our own and gave it back. For us it's the same as always: focus on doing your job and keep moving forward."
Next up, the Falcons will take on North Andover on Friday, March 2. The puck drops at 8:00pm in Stoneham.
