Family Festival Schedule: June 23

The following Family Festival events are scheduled for today:

North Shore Radio Association Field Day

• When: All Day Saturday
• Where: 
• What: The North Shore Radio Association (formally the North Shore REpeater Association) is a non-profit Amateur Radio organization based on the north shores of Boston. Membership consists of approximately 125 people who share similar interests in electronics, radio, public service, computers, and communications in general. We plan to start setting the park up on Saturday morning around 9 a.m., getting on the air by 2 p.m., and operating for the full 24 hours of the contest. Field Day is more than just a contest; it's a great outing as well, with camping and cookouts. 

Danvers Art - "People and Places" Art Show

• When: 12-4 p.m.
• Where: 
• What: As part of the Danvers Family Festival, members of the Danvers Art Association and non-members who live in Danvers may show their paintings or photographs or crafts depicting scenes of Danvers. This will be a judged show. The "take-in" for the show will be on Saturday 6/16 from 12-4:00 pm. For more information visit:  http://www.danversart.org

Danvers Idol

• When: 4-9 p.m.
• Where:
• What: Danvers Idol will let you showcase your talent! Participants will be asked to perform an acappella song. The Danvers Idol will receive several prizes, including special VIP seating at the fireworks for 4 friends and family, and an opportunity to sing on stage at the fireworks event in front of over 40,000 people.
