Friends of Danvers Library Annual Book Sale

  • When: Tuesday, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Where: 
  • What: The Friends of the Library will be holding their annual book sale. This book sale features used books in excellent condition, videos, books-on-tape, and CDs. There will also be a large selection of large print books. The money raised from the sale is used for the museum pass program, performances, the young adult summer program, as well as a variety of library projects. For many, this annual event is a great way to kick off the summer reading season.

Danvers Senior Center Luncheon

  • When: Tuesday, 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • Where:
  • What: Danvers residents, age 60 and older, are invited to enjoy a wonderful luncheon – grilled sausage, with  pepper + onions, marinated chicken kabobs homemade rice pilaf, cole slaw, hot fudge or strawberry sundaes. Tickets are $5.00 each, and may be purchased at the Danvers Senior Center office beginning June 1.  Tickets are limited.   Entertainment by the legendary Paul Wayne.  Members of The Kiwanis Club of Danvers will cook.
