Indictment Accuses Danvers Man Of Cloning Guns

Police found five guns in the home of Iury Sette, 18, of Danvers, in February, including two without serial numbers.

DANVERS, MA — An Essex County Grand Jury handed down an indictment against a Danvers man that included multiple firearms charges.

Iury Sette, 18, of Peabody, was charged with possession of five guns without a permit. He was also charged with possession of five large capacity magazines, possession of ammunition without a permit, improper storage of guns in an area accessible by children, and possession of psychoactive mushrooms with intent to distribute.

Two of the guns — a .45-caliber and a 9 mm — were cloned and did not have serial numbers.

Danvers police arrested Sette after being called to his family's apartment in February for a domestic dispute. Sette's uncle told police his nephew was fighting with another family member over a "big silver gun."
