Just Desserts: Topsfield Fair To Crown Next Mrs. Essex County

The Topsfield Fair will host the pageant to crown the next Essex Agricultural Society ambassador on Oct 13.

TOPSFIELD, MA — The Topsfield Fair is looking for candidates to be the next Mrs. Essex County crowned at this year's pageant on Oct. 13.

Mrs. Essex County will represent the Essex Agricultural Society at events across the country throughout the year.

The pageant is not a beauty competition with candidates judged on general appearance, personality, poise and the preparation of a food item.

This year's food theme is holiday desserts.

The pageant is open to women 18 years old or older who are married and currently living with their spouse in Essex County.

The pageant will held in the Coolidge Hall at the Fairgrounds at 1 p.m. on Oct. 13 with an entry deadline of Oct. 10 at 10 p.m.
