Lynn Man Charged With Threatening 'Wicked' Danvers Movie-Goers
Prosecutors said the Lynn man threatened to "shoot up the place" during a weekend movie, according to reports.
DANVERS, MA — A Lynn man was held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing after he appeared in Salem District Court on Monday to face charges that he threatened movie-goers at a showing of "Wicked" at the AMC Theater at the Danvers Liberty Tree Mall on Sunday.
The Essex County District Attorney's Office said Ryan Muldoon, 34, of Lynn was arraigned on Monday on charges of felony assault with a dangerous weapon, threat to commit a crime and disturbing the peace.
The Essex AD's Office said Muldoon pled not guilty to all charges at Monday's arraignment. He is scheduled to return to court for the dangerousness hearing on Tuesday.

Prosecutors said during Monday's arraignment that the suspect threatened to "shoot up the place" during the busy day of movies that included the debuts of "Wicked" and "Gladiator II," according to media reports.
Danvers police said no weapons were found on the suspect when they arrived.
