Man Assaulted With Ketchup Early New Year's Morning

The following are excerpts from the department log, Friday Dec. 30 through Sunday Jan. 1

Friday, Dec. 30

• A fight was reported at the at 7:50 p.m.
• Robert Young, 34, of 102 Newbury St., was arrested on warrant charges at the at 9:45 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 31

• A large group of kids at were reported at 1:28 a.m. Robert Masjoan, 21, of 5 Courtney Dr., in Beverly, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct.
• An incident of domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on Eden Glen Avenue resulted in the arrest of Diane Sultzbach, 64, of Eden Glen Ave. 
• Loose chickens were reported on Pine Street at 10:14 a.m. Police did not locate the chickens.
• At 6:10 p.m. Stephanie Conway, 17, of 7 Fairchild Ave., in Saugus, was arrested at on charges of larceny over $250 and illegal possession of a knife.

Sunday, Jan. 1

• At 3:27 a.m. Brandon Jenkinson, 23, of 200 North St. in Danvers, was arrested following a fight at on Route 1, on charges of disorderly conduct. 
• Police were notified of a man who was assaulted with ketchup at at 3:33 a.m. A group of youths were reportedly walking by the individual's table and then sprayed ketchup from a squeeze bottle at him. The kids then ran out the door.
