Northeast Arc Ranked Among Top 100 Women-Led Businesses In Massachusetts
Jo Ann Simons Continues To Lead Agency That Is Changes Lives For People With Disabilities And Children At Risk Of Developing Them

The Women’s Edge recently announced that Northeast Arc, ranked 53rd in its 25th annual list of the Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in Massachusetts. This is the eighth year in-a-row that Northeast Arc has been recognized on this prestigious list.
The Northeast Arc, a not-for-profit organization that helps children and adults with disabilities or autism become full participants in the community, is led by Jo Ann Simons of Swampscott, who has dedicated her career to helping people with disabilities.

Simons attended a breakfast honoring the top women-led businesses alongside other women leaders from Northeast Arc, representing the diverse range of programs and services offered to individuals and families.
The Women’s Edge is a nonprofit that propels women leaders to achieve personal and professional success and deliver positive impact within their businesses and communities. It creates the annual list of the Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in Massachusetts in partnership with the Boston Globe Magazine, by examining revenue or operating budget as well as other variables, including number of full-time employees in the state, workplace and management diversity, and innovative projects.
