Valentine's Day was extra special for patients, staff, and volunteers at Care Dimensions’ Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, who received “singing valentines” from a Northshoremen Chorus a cappella quartet.

June Casler (in photo), a patient from Marblehead, enjoyed being serenaded in her room by the group, which has sung at the hospice house on Valentine’s Day for the past several years. The quartet also sang to several other patients in their private rooms, and to staff and volunteers in common areas of the Kaplan Family Hospice House.

The group's members who performed are Mike Klein, Steve O’Connell, Irwin Cohen and Charlie Coogan (shown left to right in photo).
