
Danvers – Sandra L. (Cormier) Strazzulla 66, died unexpectedly at home on Sunday, November 28, 2021.
Born in Saugus, she was the daughter of the late Edward N. Sr. and Marian R. (McLeod) Cormier. She graduated from Danvers High School, class of 1973 and earned her Bachelor’s degree from North Adams State College and Master’s degree from Salem State College.
Ms. Strazzulla had been employed for many years as a supervisor for child services for the Department of Mental Health until the time of her retirement in 2019.

Sandy had resided in Salem, Beverly and Byfield prior to returning to Danvers where she had since resided.
She is survived by her sister, Catherine Butler and her husband, Jay of Hamilton, a niece, Christie (Butler) Drinkwater and two nephews, Ken and Jay Cormier. She was also the sister of the late Edward N. Cormier Jr. and Michael Cormier.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Monday, December 6, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. A Visiting hour will be held prior to the service on Monday from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Burial in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
