Topsfield Fair Customers Warned Of Fake Ticket Site: Police

Topsfield police said they have received "multiple reports" of residents buying tickets to get into the Fair's "arena" this year.

TOPSFIELD, MA — Those planning to attend the 206th Topsfield Fair are urged to only buy tickets from the Fair website, box office or authorized vendors after Topsfield police said they received multiple reports of a website purporting to sell tickets to the "arena" section of the Fair.

"All Topsfield Fair tickets from this site are fraudulent, as the Topsfield Fair is not selling tickets to get into the arena," police said.

"All of our concerts are free with a fair admission ticket so no one should purchase any additional tickets for these shows," Topsfield Fair General Manager James O'Brien said in a statement to Patch.

Topsfield Fair advanced tickets and ride tickets can be bought from the Fair's official website here.

"We strongly advise against purchasing Topsfield Fair tickets from unauthorized sources," the Fair said on its website and Facebook page. "Tickets purchased through unofficial channels may be invalid or overpriced.
