Topsfield Fair Seeks Junior King & Queen Contestants

The annual pageant is open to children ages 5 through 8, who will be judged on general appearance, conduct, and personality.

TOPSFIELD, MA — The Topsfield Fair is putting out the word for children ages 5 through 8 whose families are interested in them becoming ambassadors for the Fair at local parades and other events throughout the year as Junior King and Queen.

The pageant is open to children ages 5 through 8 and will be held at 1 p.m. on Oct. 5 on the Trianon Stage.

All contestants are asked to be dressed in casual attire. Each child will be interviewed on stage and be judged according to general appearance, conduct, and personality.

To enter your child, download an application found on the 'Junior King & Queen Pageant' page on the Exhibitor's Handbook section of the Fair's website.

Ticket prices for the 2024 Topsfield Fair are $20 every day. Discounted admission tickets are available at here through Oct. 3. General Admission discount tickets can be purchased for $15 plus a $2.50 convenience fee.

Tickets are good any day during the Fair's 11-day run. A three-day pass, good any three days, is available for $42 plus a $3.00 convenience fee.

Children under 8 are free with an adult admission ticket. Discounted ride tickets are also available when purchased in advance.
