DANVERS, MA— Visits and pictures with Santa Claus are treasured traditions for many Danvers families. In Danvers, kids have several chances to see jolly old St. Nick in person.

Danvers FalconFest Holiday Tree Lighting

Danvers FalconFest will host this year's annual downtown tree lighting and afternoon of holiday events on Dec. 7. The Maple Street event is free and open to the public from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

This year's event will include festive music, caroling, tasty snacks and fun children's activities.

Santa Claus will be there for the big day and will ride into downtown on a fire truck to help light the tree.

The Polar Express At The Cabot Theater

This cherished holiday tradition returns on Dec. 8. Bring the family to meet Santa, play games, and relish the timeless Christmas tale, "The Polar Express," on the big screen. This event is in support of The Isabella Marino Charitable Fund. Don't forget to wear your coziest PJs. Grab your tickets today before this popular event sells out.
