Worker Flown To Hospital After Danvers Construction Accident

The worker was caught under an excavator at a job site on Twin Echo Lane in Danvers.

DANVERS, MA — A worker was airlifted to a Boston-area hospital after being caught under an excavator around 10:30 Friday morning. Rescue workers were called to Twin Echo Lane in Danvers and called for a MedVac helicopter shortly after arriving on scene. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has also been called to the scene, according to scanner reports.

According to scanner reports, the worker had what were described as serious but non-threatening leg injuries.
