2014 Taste Dedham to be a 'Halloween Foodtacular Event'

Foodies and trick-or-treaters in Dedham, take note.

The Dedham Rotary Club is set to hold its annual fundraiser “Taste Dedham” next month, an event that’s meant be laden with the elements of the Halloween season.

Attending residents will have the chance to enjoy treats, tricks and tastings of 29 participating restaurants the night before Halloween. The event is set for Thursday, Oct. 30 from 6:30 until 9 p.m. at Moseley’s on the Charles, 50 Bridge St. in Dedham.

The event will also feature a silent auction, raffle, cash bar, music and other related activities. Guests and vendors are encouraged to wear their favorite costumes or masks in the spirit of Halloween.

The event costs $30 per person in advance or $35 at the door. Tickets can be purchased online at dedhamrotary.com/tastededham, as well as at Blue Hills Bank (749 Providence Hwy), Dedham Savings Bank (55 Elm St.) and Needham Bank (402 Washington St.).

All proceeds benefit services and programs supported by the Dedham Rotary Club, including college scholarships to Dedham residents, youth sports, the Dedham Police and Fire departments, Dedham seniors, enrichment programs to local families, the Dedham Food Pantry and International Charities: Habitat for Humanity, among others.
