Dedham Police, Fire Dept. to Battle on the Ice Friday

The "Battle of the Badges" benefit hockey game will support the Dedham Food Pantry.

Dedham police officers and firefighters are set to take to the ice on Friday night to benefit the Dedham Food Pantry.

The “Battle of the Badges” hockey game is set to begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26 at 6 p.m. The game will be held at the Boch Ice Center on East Street in Dedham.

Kids 10 and younger enter for free, while a donation of $10 is requested at the front door for all other attendees. All proceeds will benefit the Dedham Food Pantry.

The Dedham Police and Fire departments are also requesting attendees to bring non-perishable food items to help officials support the food pantry.
