Dedham Weather: Near-Freezing Temps on the Way

A significant weather pattern change is expected to bring "much chillier" temperatures to the area.

It may be wise to break out the extra blankets because cooler air will soon make its way into the Dedham area. A significant weather pattern change is expected to bring ”much chillier” conditions just in time for the weekend.

Near-freezing and even freezing overnight temperatures are expected this weekend.

The National Weather Service said Tuesday a cold front in Western New York and Pennsylvania will be swing through New England Tuesday night and the air moving in behind it will bring a cooling trend through the week.

Additionally, a second cold front will move through on Friday, which is expected to bring a strong shot of cold air over the weekend, increasing the potential for below-freezing temperatures over a wide area of Southern New England late Saturday night and late Sunday night.
