DJWC Craft Show Funds Club's Donation

The DJWC Craft Show is back after a two year break due to Covid.

The Dedham Junior Women’s Club have been holding their craft show for 40 years. With its humble beginning of a few tables at the Dedham Mall, the Craft Show now hosts a large variety of crafters.

The Craft Show is the largest fundraiser that the club holds. Proceeds from the craft show allows the Dedham Junior Women’s Club to donate to and support many local, national and international organizations. Most of the funds raised by the craft show stay in the community. The club has made donations to the Dedham Women’s Exchange Club Scholarship Fund; the Endicott Greenhouse Elementary School Project; Flag Day Parade; Dedham Day; all the elementary school PTO’s; the public-school libraries, as well as the Dedham Public Library; Dedham Civic Pride’s Sponsor-A-Spot program; Dedham Girls’ Softball; Dedham Youth Soccer; Dedham Community House; plus many other organizations in the town.

Surrounding communities have also benefited by donations made by the Dedham Junior Women’s Club. Fisher House in West Roxbury has received many items from their wish list because of financial donations from the club. The North Shore Fairy Godmother program, which provides prom gowns and accessories for girls from low income families, has received both financial support and many gowns from members of the Dedham Junior Women’s Club.

This year’s Craft Show will be Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Admission is $5.00 per person with children under 12 free. Many shoppers like to make a day of the event. Shopping in the morning; have lunch in the cafeteria, then purchase some raffle tickets for the Crafters’ Raffle table hoping to take home a beautifully handcrafted item donated by one of the crafters.
