Violent crime includes offenses involving force or the threat of force: murder and non-negligent manslaughter, rape, robbery and aggravated assault, according to the FBI.There were zero reported rapes, five robberies, and five aggravated assaults.Other crime stats for Dedham include 484 larcenies, 21 burglaries, 20 motor vehicle thefts, and zero cases of arson.Nationally, violent crime decreased nationally last year by 0.2 percent from 2013, according to the report.
