Property Damage, Incident In Sports Store: Dedham Police Log

September 4
5:35 a.m. - During a parking check on Eastern Avenue, an officer found a vehicle with with an expired Rhode Island Plate. Criminal complaint will be sought for operating an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.

September 5
1:16 p.m. - Three vehicles were involved in a crash on Providence Highway. One person was taken to the hospital for possible injuries. One driver received a citation for making an illegal left turn.

7:25 p.m. - Malicious damage was reported at the Tahihi on Mah Way. A person was issued a summons for defacing or damaging property.
September 6
2:31 p.m. - During a traffic stop on providence Highway, a driver receives a summons for operating with a suspended license.
September 8
4:28 p.m. - Two men trying to return what was believed to be stolen items were reported at Play it Again Sports on Washington Street. When asked about the items, neither man were able to give a director answer and could not stand still. One person attempted to run towards the door after they were asked about an active warrant, but police were able to arrest the person after he refused to comply with police orders. A second person was also taken into custody after attempting to break away.
September 9
11:32 a.m. - A person at the Whole Foods at Legacy Place was issued a summons for shoplifting.
