The woman had been crossing the road in the area of High Street near the intersection of Hyde and Lyndon streets in Dedham when she was reportedly struck by the truck and sent to the hospital for treatment of "serious injuries," <a href="http://www.whdh.com/story/26603300/woman-struck-by-car-in-dedham" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">7news reported</a>.Police closed a portion of the road to investigate, and the driver of the truck reportedly worked with police during accident reconstruction. The woman reportedly was transported to a nearby hospital, though her conditions was not immediately known Tuesady morning, according to 7News.The identity of the victim was not immediately available Tuesday morning. Dedham Patch will provide more information as it becomes available.
