5 Things: School, Meetings and Heat

1. The PTO is hosting a back-to-school picnic from 5-8 p.m. at the school. They are looking to show off some new playground equipment, and there will be a DJ and ice cream truck there as well. Captain Mardin's Cod Squad food truck is also coming.

2. The Dover-Sherborn Regional School Committee will hold their first meeting of the school year today at 4 p.m. to discuss goal setting for 2012-13.

3.The Dover Parks and Recreation Commission meeting has be rescheduled to tomorrow at 7:15 a.m. It was supposed to be yesterday.

4. The weather will continue to be phenomenal today, with clear, sunny skies and a high temperature of 86.

5. Yesterday was the first day of the 2012-13 school year here in Dover-Sherborn. ?
