Dover-Sherborn Track Earns Second Win Beating Millis

The Raiders are on the road Thursday to take on Holliston at 3 p.m.

On the boys’ side, senior Stephen O’Connor took home three wins to lead the Dover-Sherborn Raiders to a 101-28 victory over Millis.

O’Connor won the 200m (24.3), triple jump (38’8”) and high jump (5’8”), all with divisional qualifying marks.

Seniors Will Bain and Mark Moruzzi had double wins. Bain  won the 100m (11.4) and long jump (18’11”) and Moruzzi won the 400m hurdles (64.2) and 110m hurdles (17.7).

Senior Mike Rudin helped propel the Raiders to victory with a win in the javelin in (144’) and second placed in the high jump (5’2”).

Other wins included junior Chris Ouellet in the shot put (37’9”), sophomore Geoff Stevens in the 800m (2:12.8), junior Teddy Mosher in the 1 mile (4:54.7), and sophomore Dan Carroll in discus (113’4”).

On the girls’ side senior Sarah Warden led the girls to a victory over Millis (93-37) with three wins. Warden won the 100m (13.5), 200m (27.1), and high jump (4’6”).

Sophomore Chandler Wood took a first and a second as she won the 400m (63.8) and placed second in the 200m (28).

Other wins included junior Nina Copponi in the 2 mile (14:18), junior Gabby McElrath in the javelin (82’4”), sophomore Emily Mui in the 100m hurdles (21.5), sophomore Lee Milne in the 800m (2:32.2), and junior Lauren Mitchell in the discus (72’).
