Letter To The Editor: A Thank You For Sherborn Library Arts And Crafts Fair

Note: The following is a letter to the editor from Sarah O'Connell, president of the Friends of the Sherborn Library.

Thank you Sherborn, for supporting the Friends 39th Annual Arts and Crafts Fair.

While some of us woke to the sounds of thunder at the crack of dawn, the morning morphed into a signature New England Spring day with a glistening bright blue sky.

The Library grounds were all abuzz with children and adults alike, nibbling on cotton candy, searching for the “prefect” present for mom, perusing the beautiful plant donations from our neighbor’s gardens, and enjoying a tasty grilled burger or dog.

We had over 90 participating vendors showcasing their creative array of arts and crafts.

Consistent with past years, we had Mother Nature provide a “little shower” that had people bonding under tents, inside The Sherborn Community Center, and of course, the Library.

We hope you went home with the sense of community we try to foster at the Library.

Sherborn is a little town with a big heart-so many willing volunteers.  Without you, we would not be able to pull off this event.  So, thank you!  Thank you for weathering the storm.
