Erratic Operation- 3:24 p.m.

Dedham Street- Caller reported a white Chevy Tahoe is all over the road on Dedham Street. Pulled into the driveway just before Strawberry Hill Lane. Officer checked the area and was unable to locate.

9-1-1 Motor Vehicle Crash- 7:14 p.m.

Lake Street- Caller reported a vehicle slid off the road and is stuck in his yard. The vehicle is also partially blocking a lane of traffic. Operator arrested for operating without a motor vehicle license, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation.

General Info- 7:00 a.m.

Old Center Street- Private investigator provided information and stated she would be in the area for an hour.

Soliciting- 4:38 p.m.

Colonial Road- Caller reported a solicitor at the residence. Officer found the individual and got his information. There are two men in town from the urban development society. They will check in tomorrow in the morning.

Sherborn

Vehicle Check- 4:42 p.m.

Goulding Street West- Operator sleeping in vehicle. Wife and a friend responded and drove vehicle home.

Suspicious Activity- 7:04 p.m.

Brush Hill Road- Reporting party stated there had been a dark gray Chevy Blazer driving slowly by the house several times. Checked ok.

 

Wednesday- May 18, 2011

Dover

Motor Vehicle Stop- 6:43 a.m.

Junction Street- Citation issued for speeding.

Animal Complaint- 7:15 p.m.

Meeting House Hill Road- Reporting party reported wild animals in their home. Animal Control Officer advised if solution does not work ACO will take care of.

Sherborn

9-1-1 Suspicious Activity- 9:08 p.m.

Cider Hill Lane- Reporting party stated she heard several loud bangs- possibly gun shots in the area. Several people located in an area driveway, check ok. Possible fireworks.

 

Thursday- May 19, 2011

Dover

Motor Vehicle Complaint- 7:00 a.m.

Centre Street- Caller stated that a tan SUV has been parked in his driveway for approx. 30 minutes. Officer checked on vehicle. All checks ok.

Suspicious Activity- 3:28 p.m.

Partridge Hill Road- Reporting party reported a brown Dodge Durango driving around the area, now parked on Donnely. Officer reported the vehicle checks ok, just a landscaper.

Sherborn

Disabled Motor Vehicle, Arrest(s) Made- 1:09 a.m.

Washington Street- Vehicle had a flat tire from striking a pot hole. Operator determined to be OUI. Operator was arrested for operating under the influence of liquor.

 

Friday- May 20, 2011

Dover

Animal Complaint- 10:04 a.m.

Turtle Lane- Animal Control Officer received a call from a resident regarding a dog being off it's leash when a leash order had been instituted for the animal.

Animal Complaint- 10:45 a.m.

Miller Hill Road- Resident requested assistance with a chipmunk in her home. Officer and resident were unable to locate the animal.

Vandalism- 9:01 p.m.

Walpole Street and Perry Lane- Caller stated someone threw an egg at her car as she drove through the area. Officer checked area, no vandals located. Reporting party came into the station to report that damage had been rendered to her vehicle from the thrown egg. A small round indentation was found when the area was cleaned off.

Motor Vehicle Crash, Arrest(s) Made- 10:37 p.m.

Farm Street and Donnelly Drive- Officer located a motor vehicle crash. One in custody for OUI liquor and operating after suspension.

Sherborn

Erratic Operation- 10:45 p.m.

North Main Street- PT Cruiser with taillight out almost hit the barrel at the split.

 

Saturday- May 21, 2011

Dover

Fire, Auto- 11:28 a.m.

Claybrook Road- Caller stated that there was an electrical fire behind the dashboard of his vehicle. Fire dispatched. Fire self-extinguished prior to authorities' arrival.

Breaking and Entering, Unknown Time- 1:07 p.m.

Abbott Road- Information taken. Officer investigated.

Larceny Over $250- 2:57 p.m.

D-S Middle School, Farm Street- Student reported larceny over $250 from her school bag.

Sherborn

Suspicious Activity- 8:42 a.m.

Fessenden Field, Western Avenue- Reporting party stated that a beige pickup truck with Texas plates seemed to slow and follow her while she was jogging. Event took place an hour and a half prior to her report.

Domestic Disturbance- 3:49 p.m.

Course Brook Road- 26-year-old male argumentative and fighting with his father. Off medication. Arrest made for domestic assault and battery.

 

Sunday- May 22, 2011

Dover

Animal Complaint- 8:49 a.m.

Phillips Lane- Reporting party has a bat trapped in his bathroom and need assistance removing it. Bat removed. 

General Information- 3:39 p.m.

Centre Street and Claybrook Road- Caller reported he saw a deer or human skeleton while in his canoe. Caller reported it was near a small bridge long the Charles River, he thinks the Centre Street Bridge. Nothing found. The officers relocated to the Dover Road Bridge, nothing was seen.

Sherborn

Erratic Operation- 12:20 p.m.

Stevens Lane and Western Avenue- Resident reported a brown Jeep Wrangler driving at an excessive rate of speed on Stevens Lane, turned southbound on Western Avenue. Operator reportedly gave the resident the finger, swore, etc. Officers dispatched.

 

Monday- May 23, 2011

Dover

Alarm, Fire- 3:27 a.m.

Claybrook Road- Residential fire alarm activation. Fire dispatched. Fire Department spoke with homeowner.

Sherborn

Animal Complaint- 11:35 a.m.

North Main Street- Baby raccoons on the side of the road. Animals taken back to the station. Message left for Animal Control Officer.
