Dover

Motor Vehicle Crash- 1:55 p.m.

Main Street and Claybrook Road- Reporting party stated that she had struck an animal with her vehicle. She believes the animal is a dog. Animal is a golden retriever under two-years-old. Dog had a collar with no tags. Dog owner notified and will be transporting the dog to the animal hospital.

Animal Complaint- 7:45 p.m.

Walpole Street- Reporting party reported that a neighbor's pit bull killed another one of her chickens. She said she is in fear for her children.

Animal Complaint- 11:35 a.m.

North Main Street- Baby raccoons on the side of the road. Left a message for the Animal Control Officer. Animals taken back to the police station.

9-1-1 Animal Complaint- 4:39 p.m.

North Main Street- Caller reported a sick animal in the roadway.

Dover

Identity Theft- 11:00 a.m.

Meadowbrook Road- Resident requests assistance with an individual who has used her identity to incur debt.

Vandalism- 2:07 p.m.

Donnelly Drive- Officer reported tire tracks on peoples' lawns. No additional damage was rendered to the property.

Sherborn

9-1-1 Animal Complaint- 5:03 p.m.

Wood Road- Dog struck by a vehicle. Dog taken to Slade Veterinary Hospital.

Dover

Harassment- 9:50 a.m.

Centre Street- Daughter's ex-boyfriend was parked in the area of their home. No action being taken at this time by police, resident will handle.

Fire, Structure- 4:43 p.m.

Grossman Day Camp, Powissett Street- Multiple callers report heavy black smoke from property. Confirmed working fire at camp out building. State Police arson unit contacted. Excavator on scene. State Police investigator on scene.

Sherborn

Vandalism- 9:06 a.m.

Coolidge Street- Caller reported there is new vandalism on his property.

 

Thursday- May 26, 2011

Dover

General Services- 3:01 p.m.

Walpole Street- Caller requests tree warden call her regarding a winter moth infestation. Tree warden notified.

Harassing Phone Calls- 4:29 p.m.

Valley Road- Reporting party reports solicitors calling via phone and that they swore at him when he asked for credentials. Caller: Bay State Veterans. Not available on call back.

Sherborn

Erratic Operation- 5:54 p.m.

North Main Street- Reporting party stated that a vehicle was operating erratically and that the operator appeared to be texting.

Erratic Operation- 8:32 p.m.

South Main Street- Reporting party reported that two vehicles were driving north on Route 27 without their headlights on five minutes ago.

Dover

Suspicious Activity- 9:26 a.m.

Wilsondale Street- Calling party reported a bicycle of an unwanted party at her residence. Officer went to the residence and recovered the property. Property returned to owner.

General Information- 12:23 p.m.

American Legion, Dedham Street- Calling party reported that the American Legion will be test-firing rifles in preparation for Memorial Day.

Sherborn

Illegal Dumping/Trash- 11:32 a.m.

Perry Street- Reporting party stated that trash/brush has been dumped on the side of the road. Reporting party refused to leave name.

Complaint- 1:40 p.m.

Village Way- Reporting party stated both of his vehicles have been stolen. Upon further investigation, no motor vehicles exist. Elder issue. Council on Aging and family advised.

 

Saturday- May 28, 2011

Dover

Noise Complaint- 12:25 a.m.

Valley Road- Calling party reported individuals in a vacant house making lots of loud noise. Calling party also stated that the house is going to be demolished and no one should be in there. Officers reported that the parties ran into the woods, officers were in the woods attempting to locate and requested fire department for use of thermal camera. Officers transported three to the station. Parties' parents were contacted. One juvenile charged with furnishing alcohol to minors and disturbing the peace. Three juveniles were charged with disturbing the peace. Two adults charged with disturbing the peace.

Complaint- 4:35 p.m.

Meadowbrook Road- Caller reported their neighbor was taking pictures of the front of their home.

Annoying Phone Calls- 10:42 p.m.

Maple Street- Resident reported he received two phone calls from a woman who was yelling and screaming about a male and then hung up. The woman was contacted and sounded to be intoxicated. Wayland PD notified.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 12:58 p.m.

Centre Street- Written warning issued for speeding.

Animal Lost/Missing- 8:22 p.m.

Claybrook Road- Reporting party reported that the house cat named Ben is missing. Reporting reported that the cat returned home.

Sherborn

Disturbance, Arrest(s) Made- 1:05 a.m.

Village Way and South Main Street- Caller reported a fight in the street. One female transported to the station and charged with domestic assault and battery.

 

Monday- May 30, 2011

Dover

Animal Complaint- 2:37 p.m.

Haven Street- Party reported a dead raccoon in the roadway.

Sherborn

Assist Other Agency- 2:18 a.m.

Concord Street and Old Cart Path, Holliston, MA- Holliston PD requested assistance in locating a suspect who had fled from and Ashland assault and battery (domestic). Suspect reported to be a male subject with one shoe, possibly in possession of a crowbar.
