Weekend Noise Complaint Leads Dover Police To Underage Drinking Party
Two adults and three juveniles are facing charges for allegedly disturbing the peace, and possible other charges.

Two adults and three juveniles are facing charges for allegedly disturbing the peace, and possible other charges, after Dover Police officers responded to a noise complaint at a vacant house on Valley Road in Dover early Saturday morning, to find that an underage drinking party had been going on inside the house.
A neighbor called police at about 12:25 a.m. Saturday, stating that there were individuals in a vacant house making lots of noise and that the house was set to be demolished and that no one should be in there.
“At the time it was sealed from the outside so it’s not something that would be easy to get into,” said Dover Police officer John Cash.

Upon arrival police reported that the parties had ran into the woods.
Officers used thermal cameras to try and locate them but were unsuccessful, however, three of the involved parties were later found by police on Valley Road.

“They kind of found upon them,” said Cash.
They were not arrested but were brought back to the station where the police contacted their parents.
One juvenile, who was not with the other individuals, could be facing charges of allegedly furnishing alcohol to minors, according to Cash.
All of the parties involved could be facing additional charges, as well. “There are charges pending,” Cash said. But he would not say what specific charges they could be facing.
