• Woman who died in Easton house fire identified (wcvb.com) — A longtime resident was found dead after a four-alarm house fire at 44 North Main Street in Easton, discovered when firefighters responded to a medical alert call Tuesday night. Crews arrived to find the home billowing smoke and quickly escalated the response, drawing mutual aid from nearby towns. Investigators believe the blaze began at the back of the house and appears accidental, but the cause remains under investigation.
