Explosion Reported on Huntington Avenue

The following information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. This does not indicate a conviction.

An explosion was reported at 497 Huntington Ave at 1:45 a.m. on September 9.

The police arrived on the scene and found the lobby of the residential apartment full of smoke. Ladders 15 and 26 and Engine 33 and 37 responded to the call.

It was determined that the explosions were fireworks. The front glass window had shattered, but no other damage was reported.

The suspects fled on foot.
