Meet the New Editor of Fenway-Kenmore Patch
Senior Editor Sara Jacobi will be your go-to person for all things Fenway-Kenmore.

Hey all,
You may have noticed my byline on a couple of articles over the last two weeks. Well, the mystery is over. I am the new editor of Fenway-Kenmore Patch! Although we've had a few people helping out since the site launched a few months ago, the site hasn't had a dedicated editor yet. So all that's going to change.
Let me be the first to tell you: I am PSYCHED. I've lived in Boston since 2004 and I'm a former Fenway-Kenmore resident. I lived on Park Drive for two and a half years. I spent a lot of time frequenting the restaurants and busineses in Kenmore Square, Landmark Center and Comm. Ave. And I've spent way too much time on the Green line. I'm thrilled to have the chance to cover the neighborhood and to bring you all the important stuff you care about as Kenmore-Fenway residents.

I'm a lifelong MA resident - grew up in Attleboro, went to college at Boston University, and am now attending graduate school at Northeastern. I've worked previously at the Boston Globe and the Boston Metro, and I came to Patch in July of 2010 as the editor of Lynnfield Patch, then Wakefield Patch. And now I'm here. I also currently edit South End Patch.
My first request to all of you as Fenway-Kenmore Patch readers is more of a reminder. Although I'm the editor of the site, this site is YOURS. It's just an online reflection of the amazing community that already exists in the real-life Fenway-Kenmore. It's a place for community, conversation and news, and together, we can build something extremely useful, interesting and most of all - fun!

The first step is to stop being a passive reader. Yeah. That's right. What you're doing right now. Stop it! Take a second to think about what you do every day in the neighborhood and figure out a way to get it online to share with your neighbors. Add your events to our events calendar, send in news announcements, write down your most interesting thoughts (you can use more than 140 characters! The freedom!) in a blog post, post that photo you snapped in the community photo gallery, write a review of a local business or restaurant, or leave a comment on an article. Fenway-Kenmore Patch is so much more than a newspaper, and the best part is that it's all OURS.
Please feel freel to reach out and send me any news tips or other information you come across, whether it's photos, videos, links, etc. I want to see it all. You can reach me by email at sara.jacobi@patch.com, on Facebook at Facebook.com/FenwayKenmorePatchF and on Twitter at Twitter.com/FenwayKenPatch.
If you can't tell, I'm more than excited to report on the important issues here, and curate the best content specifically about the Fenway-Kenmore area. When you see me out and about in the neighborhood, please feel free to say hello. So stay tuned. Big things ahead.
