Mayor Thomas Menino wants Boston's pit bull muzzle rule resurrected. His comments to the <a href="http://bostonherald.com/news/regional/view/20221007menino_pledges_strict_muzzle_law_on_pit_bulls/srvc=home&amp;position=4" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Boston Herald</a> came in the wake of a vicious pit bull attack in East Boston over the weekend. One dog was shot by police after it and another pit bull attacked a boy and killed a cat. The state ban goes into effect Nov. 1, but Menino wants the city's muzzle requirements to stay in place. What do you think? Should pit bulls remain muzzled in Boston? Should the city adopt a rule for all dogs instead? Or do you think the state's ban on breed-specific regulations makes sense?
