The snow has wreaked havoc on the region, shutting down the MBTA, causing roof collapses, and forcing school officials to cancel classes, sometimes for as many as seven days.

It’s also produced some wonders, giant icebergs washed up on Cape Cod and a photographer in Nantucket captured nearly frozen waves.
And winter isn’t over yet, more snow is in the forecast Tuesday and Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
The first day of spring is Friday.
